Lord Ganesh is also known as Ganapathy, Vinayaka, or Vigneshwara. Although Ganesh has many attributes, he is readily identified by his elephant head. He is the eldest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi. He is widely worshiped to remove all obstacles and to overcome the challenges in life. Every Hindu ritual or ceremony initiates with a Vigneshwara puja.
Ganesh or Vinayaka Chaturthi is one of the most popular Hindu festivals celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesh.
